It began one day at the toodler play structure. Jude was determined to climb the "climbing wall". Since it was only a few feet, I let him try it on his own. It took a few attempts and a few frustrated tears, but he did it himself and was quite proud of his accomplishment. This accomplishment led to a Monster, lovingly referred to in this post as "Climbing Man". Over the next few weeks, he climbed higher and higher. The week after the climbing wall, he quickly (and amazingly easily) climbed the rope web that is about 3 feet tall.
